Analysis of thin-walled beam
A powerful app (with an alpha GUI)
GBTcode
GBTcode is an APP for the analysis of thin-walled, open cross-section beams. This version includes linear and linear buckling analyses.
Some results are published in the literature, but the APP includes also other, more standard options.
The available version is, as of May 2018, an alpha one since some known (but circumventable) problems are present in the GUI and I develop the interface in my spare time. Feel free to contact me if you experience these issues or if you want to know more on the GBT!
P.s. A similar tool (GBTUL) is developed in Portugal by excellent researchers. Results should be comparable in most cases of technical interest.

SET
The first step is choosing the element length and the number of finite elements. This initializes the GUI allowing you to choose analysis type and insert loads. Click start and you're good to...
